Can I demonstrate to my company that I am getting help without divulging confidential information?

Absolutely! Not only do we take pride in keeping the privacy of our clients we are bound by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities to do so. We can provide a certificate of completion to your company, lawyer, court system or any entity that requires it but we will only confirm your attendance to those you have specifically authorized in writing.

Will I spend all my time in therapy groups and recovery activities?

Yes and no. The schedule changes and as there are many opportunities to attend clinical recovery sessions there is also free time for writing assignments, quite time for meditating, resources for telecommuting and checking in with the office and plenty of serene activities including golf, sport fishing, tennis and beach outings. These relaxing distractions are also an important part of recovery for many clients have not had a peaceful moment sometimes for years.

Changing fundamental behaviors that have been corrupted by drugs and alcohol takes time and support. The first attempt is often the most difficult so we direct our clients to make the most of their brief stay at Montage to maximize their chances for recovery. What good is a country club membership if you can’t relax enough to enjoy it?

Can I or my loved one receive full treatment in a luxurious recovery center?

This is not a resort vacation, it is a serious program for recovery based on proven treatment principles but the barren facilities of other treatment programs just will not do for the types of clients we serve.

The quality and decades long track record of success of our staff will immediately assure the toughest critic that we know how to get you sober if you want to stop. At the same time we respect our clients, their respective business obligations and community standing and don’t believe that “slumming it” is part of an effective recovery plan. The toughest part about hitting bottom is often not financial, it’s the emotional and physical pain brought on by dependence on substances. If we can bring recovery to our clients before financial devastation then all the better for them.

Do I have to attend 12-step meetings if I don’t like those programs?

No, there are many examples of individuals getting sober and maintaining their sobriety without the help of 12-step groups. We offer introduction to the 12-step community as a source of support in our aftercare program since they are available in most communities around the world. This far-reaching community can be a lifesaver for a busy traveling executive but Montage offers many aftercare alternatives including access to your assigned caseworker on an as-needed basis.
